Stronghold Small Dog Brown 3 è un potente medicinale per cani di peso compreso tra 5,1 e 10 kg (10,1-20 lbs.). Non solo è un trattamento efficace e ad azione rapida, ma è anche a lunga durata.     Why do reviews keep saying it doesn't cover ticks, when it has ticks listed in one of the many things it prevents? Does it or does it not?

    The only tick Stronghold claims to work against is Dermacentor variabilis, the American Dog Tick. The label warns that in heavy tick infestations, complete tick efficacy may not be achieved after the first dose,so an additional dose may be given two weeks later, with monthly dosing continuing after that. That's why we recommend a stronger product like Advantix or Bravecto for extensive tick prevention.

    Before Using Stronghold, should my dog first be tested for heartworms? I'm surprised this question wasn't listed, nor does it mention it on the box as a warning... I unfortunately learned the hard way years ago with this very issue and lost my beautiful red doberman pinscher as a result, and since it doesn't require an Rx, I just had to ask.     As well so many other parasites, Stronghold is a heartworm preventative but it doesn't treat, If your dog already has heartworm. Therefore it would be advisable to test your dog if he/she has heartworm before start to use it.

    I want to change from revolution to strongholds. I have some revolution being shipped on the 20th. Can I get that changed

    We can't change the product on the automatic order, however you can cancel your Revolution from the website (my account) and re-order Stronghold.

    I have been shopping at Petbucket.com for a few years now. In my humble opinion, they are the best online store for buying my flea/tick/heartworm treatment. They're prices are fantastic. They are clear right on their site as to why their prices are so low.

    I started my dogs' treatment using Revolution. On Petbucket, it is called Stronghold. This is because it is manufactured in the UK and that's the name they use there. It is manufactured by the same company, Pfizer, both here in the US and in the UK.

    I like this treatment best because in addition to treating fleas and ticks, it is also a heartworm preventative.

    As far as Petbucket's customer service is concerned, when I had a problem it was quickly dealt with in a concerned, quick and friendly manner.

    It's always a joy to do business with such a great company. I will never use another. Thanks, Petbucket!!!
